Born in Montréal (Québec), Kristine Dandavino started studying piano when she was 7 years old. In 1998, she graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor in Music (piano & voice). She studied voice under Merla Aikman, Ingemar Korjus and Sandra Graham. Her piano professors included the late Douglas Voice and Andrew Tunis.

Upon graduation, she studied voice with Elsie InselmannGwenlynn Little, Lois Alba and Diane Nelsen.  In 2000, she made her professional debut singing Madame Flora in the title role of The Medium by Menotti under Maestra Agnès Grossman in Orford, Québec. The following year, she performed in the Black Hills Summer Institute of the Arts, in South Dakota.

Ms Dandavino has had the opportunity to sing in the chorus of Opera Mississauga. In 2002, she performed the roles of Zuleika and First Nymph in the North American premier of Nikola Subic Zrinjski by Zajc with Opera Mississauga.

Recently, she was a  a guest appearances with Durham Philharmonic Choir, Oshawa Durham Symphony Orchestra and on going performances with Music for Muses. 

In 2008-2009, Ms Dandavino will sing the roles of Marguerite from Gounod's Faust and Santuzza from Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana as well as performances with Music for Muses and Durham Philharmonic Choir I.n Oshawa, she shares her voice as a soprano soloist at Simcoe Street United Church. Her voice is featured in Vocal Rescue: Rediscover the Beauty, Power and Freedom in Your Singing by Lois Alba.
